The joke won’t be on you this April if you pay attention to regular vehicle maintenance. Here’s a checklist of key vehicle maintenance tips for spring.
Check the tires
Be safe where the rubber meets the road. Make sure your tires have adequate tread and are properly inflated. If they are more than six years old, they should be replaced. Check the alignment and have the tires rotated every 6,000 to 8,000 miles or per the recommended mileage from your owner’s manual.
Get an oil change
The owner’s manual for your vehicle will recommend how often to have your oil changed, but it also depends upon how much you drive. Be sure to check the other fluids as well.
