Though 2020 has been an unprecedented year for many manufacturers, Toyota made sure to retain some normalcy by having a presence at the Specialty Equipment Market Association’s SEMA360 Showcase.
For this year’s show, Toyota unveiled a number of powerful Tacoma and Supra configurations that highlight the innovation of super-fans and customizers. Group Vice President of Toyota Division Marketing, Ed Laukes, revealed why the two models were specifically chosen to be highlighted at SEMA: “Supra and Tacoma are legendary brands with legendary performance, so it made sense to use them to set the stage this year.”
One of the models presented at the SEMA360 Showcase, the 4WD Overland-Ready Tacoma designed by Toyota Owner Magazine, is a beefed-up version of the popular TRD Off-Road trim with a rugged blower. Outdoor enthusiasts won’t be able to contain their excitement when they get a look at the Overland-Ready Tacoma’s gear racks, which are capable of holding bikes, kayaks, camping gear, and more for your next adventure.
Three Supra builds were developed and debuted at the SEMA 360 Showcase, including the Ornamental Conifer GR, GReddy Performance Formula GR, and Papadakis Racing Rockstar Energy Drink GR editions.
