The next-generation 2022 Toyota Tundra is coming soon to Courvelle Toyota in Opelousas, Louisiana — and here’s just a taste of what you can expect when this brilliantly redesigned truck arrives.
Bold exterior updates
The Tundra TRD Pro trim will show off a bigger, wider new grille with uppercase TOYOTA lettering and built-in running lights. Other highlights include prominent fender flares, all-terrain tires with special wheels, and skid plates.
A new interior
It’s been several years since the Tundra’s last makeover, and Toyota is promising “next-level interior refinement” for 2022. Expect features like sliding rear glass and a big new available panoramic sunroof for even more of an open-air feel. TRD Pro models will get a red interior with embroidered seats.
Tech upgrades
The 2022 Tundra is in line for numerous tech upgrades. These include an enlarged touch-screen display, an available wireless charging pad, and a JBL® sound system for the TRD Pro.
Rugged performance
For 2022, the Tundra will be a more capable truck than ever. The new suspension will include rear coil springs and Fox® shocks for better off-road performance in muddy bayous and thick woodlands. The Tundra will also come equipped with helpful settings like tow/haul, downhill assist control/crawl, and Multi-Terrain Select.
